Faith is not always confident or strong. Sometimes faith is simply choosing to believe Jesus loves us when life has left us hurting, confused, or weary. In Soul Adoption: Each One, Reach One, faith is shown as a quiet surrender—a willingness to trust God’s goodness even when answers feel far away. God honors faith that comes to Him honestly, even when it is small. Jesus said, “So Jesus said to them, ‘Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you’” (Matthew 17:20, NKJV). A small belief placed in the hands of Jesus can move what once felt impossible, because His love is powerful and His promises are true.
The walk of faith is not without resistance. When God begins shaping something beautiful in us, the enemy works hard to discourage our hearts and distort our view of who we are in Christ. Doubt, fear, and past failures can rise up and attempt to silence hope. Yet God never wastes a struggle. Scripture reminds us that even hardship has purpose when surrendered to Him: “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience” (James 1:2–3, NKJV). Faith grows when we choose not to give up, even when the road feels heavy.
Praise becomes an anchor for the believing heart. When we lift our eyes to Jesus in every season—good or difficult—we declare that our trust is in Him and not in circumstances. Worship reminds us of who God is when life tries to tell us otherwise. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, NKJV). Praise softens our hearts, strengthens our faith, and invites peace into places where fear once lived.
Faith is never meant to stop with us. God calls us to be a blessing, especially to those who feel forgotten, wounded, or overwhelmed. When we walk through hardship with faith, our story becomes a source of hope for someone else. Jesus calls us to shine—not by being perfect, but by being willing. “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16, NKJV). Sometimes being a light simply means showing compassion, listening without judgment, or offering love where it is needed most.
Above all, faith rests in God’s goodness and grace. Even when we stumble, His mercy meets us again and again. His love does not run out, and His faithfulness does not fail. “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22–23, NKJV). Always believe in God’s goodness. Always trust His grace. Even the smallest faith, held with sincerity, can become a testimony of hope and a light that leads others to Jesus.
